Power Utilities & Infrastructure M&A (f/m/x)
Your role at RBI
- Assistance to and cooperation with team members of the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure M&A team in the origination and execution of M&A advisory mandates in Austria, CEE and CIS
- Gathering, analysing and synthesising detailed financial and operating information about companies, the energy & utilities as well as related infrastructure sectors and governments to analyse current trends, help value companies and price transactions
- Performance of financial analysis, strategic business analysis and detailed industry research
- Creation and analysis of financial models with a high degree of granularity
- Creation, drafting and taking ownership of presentations and memoranda for a wider audience both internally and externally
- Attendance of and contribution to team discussions and client meetings
- Co-ordination of and cooperation with M&A / investment banking teams of local Raiffeisen network banks throughout the region
Your core competencies
- Academic background, preferably having achieved a master’s degree with a focus on corporate finance and financial markets
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial concepts; ability to analyse and value businesses
- Experience in building, reviewing, and working with financial models (DCF, LBO, Project Finance) is a plus
- A results-driven team player who performs well under pressure and against tight deadlines
- Relevant previous practical experience (Financial advisory / investment banking / M&A) required
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and to summarize them effectively
- Commitment to excellence in work and maintenance of high professional, regulatory and ethical standards
Nice to have
- Experience in Power, Utilities & Infrastructure sectors is an advantage
- Experience in compiling investment memoranda and other materials for transactions and pitches
- German or an Eastern European language is an advantage
