Associate (f/m/x)

Your role 

• Being an integral part of our investment team, in all aspects of our work:

  • Actively scouting for the best deals in EV’s investment focus

  • Screening, analyzing, and tracking pipeline deals

  • Commercial and financial analysis and modelling of potential investments

  • Review data room materials and present potential investment opportunities to the team

  • Conducting parts of transaction and due diligence processes

  • Preparing investment memos in a team of colleagues

• Preparing internal reporting

• Becoming a sparring partner for entrepreneurs in their business growth

• Enhancing your network to other VCs, entrepreneurs, and other industry professionals

Your core competencies

• Finished Master studies at a university or college, preferably business studies or studies related to investment or innovation

• 3 to 5years of experience in VC investment or M&A advisory; FinTech or startup experience is an advantage

• Analytical thinking and financial modelling skills with a solid understanding of tech market and business models

• Superior user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics and Power BI

• Proactive, structured, and independent way of working, team-skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent command of English (German or CEE language is an advantage) 

• Willingness to travel

• Salary: Annual gross salary (all-in) starting from EUR 60,000. A willingness to overpay is given, depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
