Digital Banking Data and Technology Lead (f/m/x) Retail


We are looking for a talented and experienced Data and Technology Lead to join our Retail team. In this role, you are responsible from the business side for developing and managing the data strategy, portfolio of data and API products and services for our customers. Furthermore, you contribute to designing business target architecture and transformation models on our journey to become the Digital bank with human touch.

 Your role at RBI

  • You are responsible for co-creating and aligning business and IT strategy, enabling the transformation process of the retail client segment.
  • You collaborate intensively with internal business stakeholders to identify customer needs and data driven approaches to solve them and translate them into requirements for business & IT joint roadmaps.
  • You closely collaborate with IT teams to ensure that our data models and products meet technical and security requirements and comply with regulatory standards. 
  • You are in touch with external partners to identify opportunities for enhancing our data strategy via the integration of third-party products and services.
  • You promote technical standards as part of t-shaping business strategy.
  • You define technology and capabilities, including target architecture, to support digital business now and in the future.


Your core competencies

  • Extensive work experience in technology and data strategy and/or data product management or related roles
  • Solid knowledge of digital banking and business transformation, including data mesh & technology elements
  • Experience in agile product development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience in coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Innovative thinking with ability to drive transformation.


Nice to have

  • Experience of APIs 
  • Experience with DWH, data lakes, or distributed data 
  • Experience with cloud based data platforms
  • Knowledge of composable architecture at scale
  • Knowledge of digital banking channels and processes
