IT Risk Controller:in (f/m/x)

We are looking for new IT Risk Controlling team members who will establish and maintain firm-wide relationships within the whole banking group. 

This position suits for team player personalities with proven capabilities to translate complex topics into the components of a general risk management cycle for steering purposes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams will help you to succeed in this role.

 Your role at RBI

  • Establish and maintain the IT risk management strategy and policies as second line of defense function while developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize potential risks
  • Conduct risk assessments, gap analyses, and control testing to evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls
  • Monitor and report on the status of IT risk management initiatives, including the identification of emerging risks and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT risks are appropriately addressed in business processes and projects
  • Provide guidance and support to IT first line of defense management and control teams in implementing and maintaining effective risk management practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the IT risk management function


Your core competencies

  • Business graduate or experience in the area of risk management, computer science, information systems or IT in the financial sector
  • Experience in IT/operational risk management, internal audit, or a related role is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, risk assessment methodologies, and industry best practices
  • Ability to work with big data sets on a structured basis


Nice to have

  • Experience in an IT/operational risk management, internal audit, or a related role is highly desirable
  • PBI or R skills are of advantage
