IT Strategy & Transformation Junior Specialist / Specialist – Group IT Governance (w/m/x)

Our unit IT Strategy & Transformation translates RBI’s vision and mission into vision and mission of Group IT, defines Group IT strategy and serves the Group IT leadership team in structuring and assessing priorities and strategic topics. One of our important goals is to define and run Group IT Governance having significant impact on RBI Group, to bring the Group IT standards and consistent management approach as well as to collaborate with RBI Network Banks RBI´s Group.

What you can expect:
  • Become a Member of the Group IT Governance Team within Group IT Strategy and Transformation department
  • The IT Governance Team drives the implementation of a consistent management approach for meeting IT governance requirements
  • Join the team and support the provision of governance components such as steering and cooperation via our Group IT Dialogue, IT Strategy/Strategic Roadmap implementation monitoring, and performance management based on our Objective Key Results and key performance indicator framework, regular reporting and risk processes used for the division.
  • The successful candidate is responsible on one hand to support the implementation and to manage the maintenance of our governance components and on the other hand brings new ideas to the table. This includes process & policy enablement, continuous improvement, and respective reporting

What you bring to the table:
  • Monitoring of IT Strategy roadmap deployment and Groupwide reporting of Strategic Roadmaps in the CIO/COO area
  • Contribution to the effective monitoring of Group IT Strategy implementation
  • Contribute to the further implementation and development of our IT Governance framework and new developments e.g., KPIs, PowerBI reporting
  • Supporting development and maintenance of the overall RBI IT Reporting package and IT KPI Dashboard
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of reporting quality and identify enhancements to further improve/automate reporting (PowerBI)
  • Supporting organization of Group IT management meetings
  • Responsible for working with Leadership Team, IT Strategy and Transformation Team to ensure timely resolution of data issues and problems
  • Responsible for analyzing and communicating information in a strategic and accurate manner
  • Responsible for upholding deadlines to ensure all material is entered in a timely fashion
  • Participate in IT projects, offering skills and insights to bring value to the organization by leveraging our technological and reporting infrastructure
  • Adhere to IT department policies and procedures when performing tasks to ensure controls are in place and departmental goals are met

What you bring to the table: 
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in an IT Governance or finance controlling, consulting background is an asset
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining reports for IT organization and /or complex transformation programs is an advantage
  • Very good understanding of banking technology, architecture and strategy is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, result orientation and extremely meticulous in approach to work
  • High degree of initiative and assumption of responsibility
  • Team orientation and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Ability to compose materials for decision makers, very good PowerPoint and Advanced Excel skills
  • IT experience in a multicultural environment is an advantage
  • Very good command of English (proficiency in written and spoken), German (proficiency in spoken) is an asset, or another CEE language would be a plus
