Junior Compliance Officer (m/f) - Financial Crime Management

The Financial Crime Department (FCM), an organizational unit within our Compliance division, is responsible for group-wide standards and management in prevention, detection, investigation as well as recovery of financial crime incidents (fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest etc). To strengthen our dynamic team, we are currently looking for a motivated and results driven Junior Compliance Officer:

Your tasks:

  • Support the team on all relevant FCM (fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest etc)
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses and propose improvement actions
  • Ensure proper data and reporting quality for steering and regulatory purposes
  • Create and support standard and special ad-hoc reporting
  • Support the plan, design, execute and evaluate change and processes with regard to our digitalization and change strategy
  • Monitor and analyze market standards, regulations as well as best practices in Austria and relevant regions
  • Your ambition is to identify potential for new ways of working within our department (new collaboration technologies, new (agile) approaches etc.)
  • You are innovative, you have an interest in IT and want to work with pilots using new technologies

Your qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Informatics/Economics/Business Law/Business Administration/Project Management or comparable studies
  • First experience in banking with understanding of banking products and the standard processes of a bank or in tax advisory in a reputable audit/tax firm
  • High affinity to Compliance, Risk Management and/or Counter-Fraud/Corruption Management
  • Innovative strength and hands on experience in developing digital work streams
  • First Project Management experience, including a structured and organized way of working; attention to details
  • Basic change management skills backed by strong multi-cultural sensitivity
  • CEE working experience preferable
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • High willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Strong team player
