(Junior) Funding Manager (f/m/d) – limited contract until June 2023

The department Funding and Intra-Group Business is responsible for the coordination, management and fulfilment (including planning, structuring, negotiation, approval, legal documentation, execution and monitoring) of all cross-border financial transactions of RBI subsidiary banks, leasing companies and other affiliates, including RBI Branches ("RBI Units").

What you can expect:
  • You will support the account managers in the department in leading the client portfolio consisting of RBI units (approx. 70 clients) in close cooperation with internal units
  • You will perform service activities for RBI units, e.g. related to customer on/off boarding, KYC process, account processing in close alignment with account and product managers
  • You will be in charge to ensure efficient limit management processes, e.g. counterparty limit review for RBI units, single deal applications for obtaining of internal credit approvals of various transactions, limit requests, limits allocations, monitoring of intra-group exposure in alignment with account and risk managers
  • You will support the negotiation of financing transactions between RBI Units and external funding providers, as well as structuring of capital market transactions for RBI Units, including preparing of intra-group documentation and its alignment with responsible product department and Legal Services
  • You will support Group ALCO Secretary in organizing the Group ALCO sessions and preparing the minutes

What you bring to the table:
  • Master of business administration/finance/economics, or comparable degree
  • At least 1 year of professional working experience in Institutional Clients, Corporate Banking, Risk or similar area within a banking institution
  • Very good command of English; a CEE language and/or German language proficiency will be an advantage
  • Experienced MS-Office user
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
  • Team work ability and strong communication skills
