Group Program Manager (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Full end-to-end responsibility for the setup and implementation of group programs: large, complex projects across our banking network mainly with IT focus
  • Responsible for the setup of suitable expert teams and direct management of internal and external team members constituting the project team (typically 20+ people)
  • Project portfolios comprise all banking areas (retail, corporate, markets and treasury, risk, finance) as well as pure IT focus
  • Close partnership with assigned business managers
  • Act as the peak of the reporting pyramid in group programs and report directly to board members organized in the Group Program Steering Committee
  • Bridge between business requirements and IT-implementation
  • Management of operational setup for implemented services across banking units
  • Contribute to the setup of the capability base project management (methodology, templates, best practices, etc.)
  • Quality assurance of other projects
  • Coach or act as a mentor for less experienced project managers

Your qualifications:
  • More than 10 years of experience in project/program management in an international, a complex and heterogeneous banking business or similar experience with an international consulting company
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management (on C and B-1 level) and as a representative of a project within an international organization
  • Experience in turnaround of non-performing  projects, Change Management, Process Management or Post Merger Integration desirable
  • Sound knowledge of IT architecture and common IT-systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Languages:
    • German and English: business fluent (mandatory)
    • CEE languages (preferred)
  • Education: business education with strong IT expertise or vice versa, university degree advantageous
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Lean advantageous
  • Experience in an international environment and with different cultures
  • Banking experience required
  • PMI or similar certification
