Retail Risk Collections Manager (f/m/x) - Digital Bank 

We create the new digital-only Retail banking business line as part of the Raiffeisen Bank International with the seat in Vienna. We are looking now for curious, hardworking and experienced team players to strengthen our team to build it up and later run the business. We are the team of professionals with a start-up culture in charge of one of largest digital innovation projects in our banking Group. We have plans to build new digital banking end-to-end customer journeys and plan to roll the service out across multiple CEE countries. First, you will drive the solution development by providing analysis, insights and requirements and later will take care of growing the business. We think, this is the unique, and maybe once per life opportunity, to build something new and great and be part of it as one of the first grounders.

What you can expect:
  • Develop and run credit risk operations (mainly debt collection and restructuring) and implement credit risk methodology within the new digital business line
  • Set past due loans classification and tools for credit risk portfolio steering and stress testing
  • Be in charge of collection/restructuring operations efficiency, define system parameters for collection activities - set collection with aim to reach largely automated soft collection process. After digital consumer loan product roll-out: run credit risk operations and risk tools domain
  • Ensure methodological compliance with credit risk management areas – DPD counter, default recognition, forbearance, provisioning
  • Cooperate and formulate requirements for external collection agencies, legal collection agencies, debt sale investors and any other used external service providers, incl. setting up and monitoring SLAs
  • Be an owner of a set of digital lending solution epics in area of credit risk monitoring and management tools, e.g. a DPD recognition, rules for default and forbearance, stress testing, collection strategies, loans restructuring policy, recovery and write off; ultimately be responsible for drafting epics and process descriptions as well as giving requirements for technical infrastructure setup
  • Ensure the entrusted part of digital lending product backlog is ready for development, orchestrate new requirements inflow, build a shared understanding of the specific part of credit risk assessment domain with the IT delivery teams

What you bring to the table: 
  • 5+ years of credit risk management experience, preferably in area of collection, credit risk management tools, risk infrastructure/operations setup and maintenance in a financial / lending institution
  • Solid skills in dealing with external collection agencies, legal collection agencies, debt sale investors
  • Good knowledge of debit collection practices in the CEE region
  • Digital savvy, great orientation in digital/neo banking industry and recent financial innovations
  • Consumer lending / credit risk management experience on the Polish market is an advantage
  • Experience in setting up an automated / semi-automated soft collections is an advantage
  • Experience in implementation of risk-related IT solutions is an advantage
  • Fluent English; Polish or other CEE language is an advantage
