• Execute a diverse array of use cases across all business lines, validate hypotheses, and contribute innovative ideas, leveraging your expertise in both classic machine learning and generative AI.
• Act as the vital link between business experts, IT, and Advanced Analytics & AI, integrating both traditional machine learning and generative AI methods into broader business strategies and technical solutions.
• Teach and train junior colleagues in data science, focusing on both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI, to further enhance these capabilities across RBI.
• Create, maintain, and teach introductory courses for both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI
• Utilize state-of-the-art cloud infrastructure (end-to-end data science framework on AWS using Databricks), ensuring the effective application of both traditional machine learning and generative AI models.
• Translate data analysis findings and research results into actionable steps, highlighting the implications and benefits of both traditional machine learning and generative AI.
• Use your excellent communication skills to advocate for the adoption and benefits of both generative AI and classic machine learning to your students.
• Creatively visualize and report data findings, emphasizing the unique insights provided by both classic machine learning and generative AI, in a variety of visual formats.

Your core competencies

• You possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Science within a large corporation, ideally in the financial services sector.
• You have deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques, including proficiency in generative AI.
• You have experience as a trainer of both classic machine learning techniques and the application of generative AI (e.g. at the university or as freelance trainer).
• Experience in creating training material is a strong plus.
• Your excellent scripting skills, preferably in Python, and familiarity with popular machine learning libraries equip you to handle diverse data science tasks.
• You have a proven track record of delivering successful data products, services, or insights, demonstrating your understanding of complex data flows and business processes.
• Your communication skills are excellent, with fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• You are energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering high-quality analytical products in a dynamic environment.
• You have a hands-on mentality and enjoy exploring new ideas and techniques.
• You are a team player, able to work collaboratively with people at all levels.
• You can effectively communicate complex ideas and maintain a positive attitude, even when facing criticism.
