Senior Independent Validation Specialist (f/m/x)
Your role at RBI
- Ensure Compliance: Independently validate the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of risk data aggregation capabilities and risk reporting practices in line with BCBS 239 principles, relevant regulatory standards, and internal regulations.
- Conduct Assessments: Perform thorough reviews and assessments of the bank’s methods, processes, and systems related to risk data aggregation and reporting, identifying potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop Action Plans: Create and implement corrective action plans for identified compliance issues, while providing preventive guidance to improve future practices.
- Report Progress: Regularly prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior management and other stakeholders, keeping them informed about the ongoing compliance efforts and progress.
Your core competencies
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is of advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and other relevant banking regulations.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a banking or financial institution.
- Strong business analytical skills with a high level of technical proficiency.
- Understanding of Modern Architecture Principles in a banking context.
- Exceptional analytical skills for assessing and interpreting complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
