Software Architect (f/m/x)

As a software architect you are responsible for multiple technical streams like Tooling, Cloud Services, Security or Infrastructure in a data related environment. You are guiding and supporting an agile platform team and taking care of the backlog and stakeholders. You will be part of a department within the RBI Group IT GmbH that takes care of all the Data requests from the Raiffeisen Building Society Savings and Loans ("Raiffeisen Bausparkasse").

• Design, develop and implement solutions & improvements together with your team
• Direct contact person for other Data Feature Teams & Stakeholders
• Backlog Management & Maintenance on a technical level in a cross-functional team
• Know the quality standards and state of the art technology we use
• Mentoring the team members as an experienced Software Architect
• Active involvement in community of practices and guild meetings

Your core competencies

• Work experience in Python / Linux / Bash
• Work experience in Virtual Machines / Cloud Environments / Docker
• Work experience with Security guidelines, CI/CD pipelines
• In-depth understanding of databases (esp. PostgreSQL)
• Experience in Agile Methodology and usage of JIRA & Confluence

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge in Data Models / DWH
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Architect/Lead Developer
• Experience in Product Ownership, Project management
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a software-engineering related area; or any related certification(s)
