Capital Planning Manager (f/m/x)

Capital Steering is a key stakeholder in managing the capital position of RBI Group and RBI AG. The team monitors, plans, and steers capital for RBI Group, RBI AG, and network units, including optimization measures. Capital Steering also develops strategic capital steering concepts and supports the execution of major capital transactions across the Group. In addition, the team manages the structural FX position.

 

Your role at RBI:

 

  • Planning of RBI Group’s capital positions and optimizing its value by ensuring optimal usage of different regulatory capital instruments and adequacy with regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to RBI’s budgeting and forecasting process by ensuring proper reflection of all capital relevant items and measures
  • Monitoring and planning of RWAs, understanding and reconciling RWAs on the level of Business lines and subsidiaries with total consolidated Group RWAs
  • Support the Stress testing activities in RBI Group undertaken by risk function, contributing with capital steering relevant inputs and assumptions, accompanying the process and interpreting of the results relevant for implementation of recovery/contingency measures
  • Further development of the backtesting on critical data elements for the Capital Planning
  • Support in regular updates and presentations about RBI Group’s capital plan and adequacy statement for RBI Board of Management and authorities

 

Your core competencies:

 

  • Academic background in banking & finance, or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in the banking industry (typically 3–5 years) e.g., in Regulatory Affairs, Capital Management, or Accounting, including interaction with regulators
  • Profound knowledge of current regulatory framework items (Basel 4, CRR, CRD, ICAAP) with focus on capital as well as strong interest in new developments of relevant regulations
  • Analytical skills; experience with data processing and working in an agile environment
  • MS Office skills; experience with tools such as Bloomberg, Tagetik, Qlik, and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in German is an advantage
