Chief Transformation Officer - Payment Acceptance (f/m/x)

We look for a talented, passionate and collaborative delivery lead to move our Payment Acceptance business (Acquiring) to the next growth phase. RBI and its payment acceptance business is a leading  provider in the region to many large to smaller merchants, both in the offline and online world. We continue to invest strongly in our people, products and technology and this role holder will become a critical senior team member to shape the way forward.


This role will be accountable to shape and implement a new operating model across several Central / Eastern markets. In addition, the delivery manager will bring together various change and product activities, be instrumental to improve our ways of working and help to build out a strong community across our payment acceptance teams.

 

Your role at RBI:

 

1. Strategy & Business Transformation:

  • Orchestrate strategic initiatives across multiple countries to drive revenue growth and innovative execution.
  • Lead the implementation of digital activation strategies to enhance online customer engagement.

2. Payment Acceptance Business (Acquiring):

  • Shape and implement an improved operating model for the Payment Acceptance business across our CEE markets covering all customer segments.
  • Set up, run, and continuously improve agile working environments closely with business, ensuring innovation and effective operation.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and Solution Architects to define the Product Backlog, including technical epics/user stories and Release Plans.
  • Manage technical solution interdependencies, alignment, and synergies across other agile setups, keeping track of risks and impediments.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, manage budgets and external contracts, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control.

3. Regional Leadership & Cross-Country Cooperation:

  • Mobilize and empower cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and successful initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to transform local companies, driving synergies and optimizing operational efficiency.


Your core competencies:

 

  • Proven experience in orchestrating strategic initiatives and leading business transformations in the financial services sector.
  • Extensive experience in the payments area, including deep know-how of Payment Acceptance Business (Acquiring), card issuing, and processing.
  • Demonstrated success in forging strategic partnerships and driving business development initiatives.
  • Expertise in customer experience enhancement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven change leadership which resulted in measurable impact related to Operating Models, Skill development, Employee enablement and engagement, and Technology.
  • Experience with steering complex and multi-market change initiatives covering both technical and people aspects.

Salary: the offered gross yearly salary starting from 100.000,- Euro (basis full-time) including overtime, depending on qualification and experience.
