Clojure Backend Developer (f/m/x)
Limit Management System is a non-customer facing product and a significant element of RBI’s strategy to become most recommended bank in CEE. In that context the product is a new green field development fully in-house by leveraging credit risk synergies and an innovative tech stack. Together with our business colleagues, we ensure the operation and end-to-end IT delivery chain. As a new developer you would further contribute to this innovative tech stack alongside other members in the tribe (engineers, business analyst, solution architect, business experts etc).
What you can expect:
- You develop professional software for the finance industry in an international environment
- Design, develop, build and maintain efficient, re-usable, and reliable code using state-of-the-art technologies
- Implement automated unit tests
- Write technical design and documentation
- Ensure that the knowledge is shared and documented
- Being part of an international Scrum-team
- Work in close cooperation with Solution Architect, Test Engineers and Business Analysts
What you bring to the table:
- Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
- More than 4 years professional experience in (backend) development
- Working knowledge of Integration Patterns
- Excellent Clojure programming skills
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g.: GIT/Jenkins/Gerrit/artifactory, )
- Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
- Very good command of English, German is a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience in finance & banking area is a plus
- Cloud technology experience (e.g.: AWS) is a plus
- Event sourcing experience is a plus
