Clojure Backend Developer (f/m/x)

Limit Management System is a non-customer facing product and a significant element of RBI’s strategy to become most recommended bank in CEE. In that context the product is a new green field development fully in-house by leveraging credit risk synergies and an innovative tech stack. Together with our business colleagues, we ensure the operation and end-to-end IT delivery chain. As a new developer you would further contribute to this innovative tech stack alongside other members in the tribe (engineers, business analyst, solution architect, business experts etc).

What you can expect:

You develop professional software for the finance industry in an international environment
Design, develop, build and maintain efficient, re-usable, and reliable code using state-of-the-art technologies
Implement automated unit tests
Write technical design and documentation
Ensure that the knowledge is shared and documented
Being part of an international Scrum-team
Work in close cooperation with Solution Architect, Test Engineers and Business Analysts

What you bring to the table:

Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
More than 4 years professional experience in (backend) development
Working knowledge of Integration Patterns
Excellent Clojure programming skills
Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g.: GIT/Jenkins/Gerrit/artifactory, )
Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
Very good command of English, German is a plus

Nice to Have

Experience in finance & banking area is a plus
Cloud technology experience (e.g.: AWS) is a plus
Event sourcing experience is a plus
