DCM FI & SSA Originator (f/m/x)

Join our DCM FI & SSA team responsible for lead-managing Eurobonds of Financial Institutions, Supranationals, and State Agencies in both hard and local currencies. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including the Bond Syndicate, Transaction Management Group, Institutional Sales, Institutional Clients, and network units (NWUs). Our Team covers issuers in Western Europe, CEE, CIS, and the DACH regions.

 

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in winning mandates, as well as structuring and documenting Eurobonds and Private Placements for prominent issuers in the region. You will work independently with clients, acting as a deal-team lead and competence center for fixed income products, coordinating  with account managers and NWUs.

 

Your mission at RBI:

 

  • Maintain ongoing dialog with Treasurers and Debt Management Officers regarding funding opportunities in the Capital Markets.
  • Pitch Debt Capital Markets (DCM) products to clients.
  • Prepare compelling pitching books, presentations, mandate letters and term sheets.
  • Prepare proposals and reply to requests for proposals.
  • Act as deal-team head and subject matter expert in the execution of Eurobonds and Private Placements.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with joint-bookrunners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Initiate non-deal and deal related roadshows and client events in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Gather information on new product developments and monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Proactively identify and compile target lists for your coverage countries in collaboration with account managers.

 

Your core competencies:

 

  • University degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Several years of practical experience in Debt Capital Markets, with a proven track record in independent client coverage
  • In-depth knowledge of Debt Capital Markets, including primary and secondary bond markets, as well as macroeconomic and interest rate developments
  • Proficiency in both German and English
  • Solid understanding of investor needs (i.e. in relation to stock exchange and listing requirements), as well as pricing and documentation requirements for bond transactions
  • Networking skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Effective communication skills combined with a client-centric approach
  • Experience in ESG finance
  • Willingness to travel frequently
