Within AA&AI, the Data Science Academy (DSA) team is responsible for upskilling colleagues – both beginners and experts – on the latest advances in AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning. The team designs and delivers self-paced and in-person courses, writes technical articles, and develops coding examples as practical blueprints. Their mission is to provide high quality training that brings value to the group and facilitates the usage of new technologies through reusable solution guides. To further strengthen the team, we are looking for a Data Science & GenAI Trainer (f/m/x) to support our learners throughout their machine learning upskilling journey.
Your mission at RBI:
- Design and deliver tailored courses and learning experiences on various topics in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
- Develop hands-on coding examples and practical solution blueprints that help learners apply concepts directly to real banking use cases.
- Create clear, high quality and engaging learning materials, including notebooks, course plans, online course modules (in SCORM format), exercises, and assessments that make complex topics accessible.
- Coach and mentor learners – from beginners to advanced practitioners – through their upskilling journey, supporting them with technical questions and guidance.
- Research, explore, and experiment with emerging AI technologies, evaluating their potential for integrating into our training programs and the broader banking group initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists and subject matter experts across the group to ensure training content reflects current best practices and the latest innovations.
- Contribute to a library of reusable GenAI and ML solution guides, helping scale expertise across the entire region.
- Continuously improve training programs by collecting feedback, analyzing outcomes, and iterating on content and delivery methods.
- Use your communication skills to advocate for new Advanced Analytics and AI strategies across RBI communities, helping to foster knowledge sharing and build an engaged, international learning culture.
Your core competencies:
- Several years of professional experience (typically 4–7 years) in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI, with hands‑on exposure across classical ML, NLP, and Generative AI.
- Ability to make complex AI topics understandable and engaging for both technical and non‑technical audiences, through workshops, coaching, and hands‑on support.
- Experience designing and delivering practical training formats that are relevant, accessible, and valuable across different skill levels.
- Proficiency in Python and regular use of common ML and AI frameworks (e.g. pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Practical experience working with LLM‑based solutions, including prompting approaches, RAG pipelines, and agent‑based architectures.
- Clear and engaging communication style, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex subjects. Professional working proficiency in English is required.
Nice To Have:
- Experience applying adult‑learning or andragogy principles in training or enablement contexts.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) and exposure to DevOps/MLOps concepts; experience with Databricks is an advantage.
- German language skills.
