DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) for Business Compliance Solution
We started to create a holistic Compliance Product Target Architecture. A significant aspect of this is enabling stakeholders to access and utilize harmonized data. This initiative is not just a technical endeavor; it is a transformative journey towards achieving data-driven decision-making that enhances compliance and governance within our organization.
To accomplish this, we are establishing end-to-end data architecture flows. This includes sourcing data, enriching, and transforming it, and making it readily available for product teams and end-users. Our goal is to empower them with the data they need for insightful reporting and effective steering of the bank’s operations.
Your mission at RBI
- Assuming end2end DevOps responsibility as part of the product team by communicating with stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of a future-ready container orchestration platform, covering build, deployment and test automation as well as provisioning of infrastructure components in cloud & on-premises environments
- Maintain the application by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health
- Design concepts, evaluate tools and technologies to improve every aspect of the container orchestration platform (incl. CI/CD pipeline)
- Drive adoption of best practices in platform health, testing and maintainability
Your core competencies
- Work experience as DevOps or a comparable position
- Practical experience in processing as well as integration Apache Flink in conjunction with Apache Pulsar
- Konwledge of security standards (Practice with certification management, standard authentication mechanism)
- Profieciency in scripting (ideally Python, Bash)
- Sound English skills to collaborate with different stakeholders
- Knowledge of big data tools
Nice to have
- German skills
- Knowledge of Java
- Experience with cloud concepts and -providers, virtualization and containers
- Experience in Queuing systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka, Pulsar)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN)
