ESG Data Analyst (f/m/x)
We are a cross-functional team which acts in the core of the risk management. On the one hand, we are servicing our (senior) management with information of ESG and we are continuously enhancing the ESG data analytics and calculation infrastructure
Your Mission:
- ESG calculations and reporting to internal and external stakeholders with focus on climate risk
- Development, maintenance and running operations of in-house ESG infrastructure using legacy and using AI technologies
- Work on integration of ESG infrastructure into other RBI internal processes
- Operations of ESG calculation and reporting offering a seamless user experience for end users
- Continuously monitor in AI, regulatory and other external standard developments, and peer best practices and developments in AI tools and technologies in order to improve common know-how and process efficiency,
- Qualitative and quantitative portfolio analysis from ESG perspectives
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis of requests by (senior) stake holders and external supervisors/auditors
- Active participation in strategic projects in the ESG area
Your core competencies:
- An Agile mindset
- Proactive team player with high motivation and ambition to learn, to shape and to teach
- Good communication skills and good team player
- Technical skills: SQL (e.g. Oracle PL-SQL), data modeling, Python, Git, modern BI tools (e.g. Power BI) and CI/CD being a plus, Microsoft Office suite
- Good understanding of banking business model, banking products as well know-how in ESG domain (CSRD, PCAF Standard, EU Taxonomy, EBA guidelines on ESG risks, EBA ITS Pillar 3, SREP Short term exercise – Climate risks)
- University degree with specialization in risk, finance or IT with quantitative background or similar education
- Strong analytical skills, experience in data analysis and data mining in banking
- Fluent in English is a must, German and additional languages are appreciated

- In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.725,93 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
