Financial Sanctions Compliance Officer (f/m/x) First Line of Defense

Then join our CIB Lifecycle Group Projects & Steering team as FLOD (First Line of Defense/Business) Compliance Officer. This role focuses mainly on FiSa (financial sanctions) transaction screening and supports AML transaction monitoring . You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and operational excellence, with a special focus on process efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing, steering and enhancing the execution of Compliance processes within the First Line of Defense.
Your mission at RBI:
- Steer operational units mainly in the FiSa Transaction Screening and support with AML Monitoring processes for the first voting phase
- Align and track budget, KPIs and OKRs for the defined Compliance processes
- Foster compliance awareness in the First Line of Defense and maintain adherence to standards
- Initiate, guide and orchestrate process improvements with special focus on IT systems and automation in the First Line of Defense
- Collaborate with all other departments of the Division to increase transparency of RBI’s customers and their transactions
Your core competencies:
- 5+ years in the financial sector, with well-founded Compliance experience
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially in the field of Financial Sanctions and AML
- Practical understanding of Compliance processes
- Analytical mindset, data-oriented and precise working style
- Interest in working with new technologies
- Experience in agile environments and process optimization
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient in English, German language is an asset
