Head of Corporate Sales (f/m/x)

Group Capital Markets manages the sales, trading and origination of capital market cash and derivative products in asset classes such as foreign exchange, money market, interest rates and credit. Corporate, institutional, and retail clients are serviced in a group-wide responsibility.

 

Join our Capital Markets division as Head of the Corporate Sales within our Capital Markets Sales Department. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the development of the Corporate Sales team, enhance customer experience, and significantly contribute to the division's gross income.

 

Your role at RBI:

 

  • Drive the distribution of capital markets products to corporate clients at RBI HO by establishing strategic sales initiatives and utilizing structured approaches supported by sales channels, tools, and data analytics
  • Collaborate closely with the Data and Solutions team and relevant product departments to innovate and implement new product ideas, ranging from simple to complex offerings  
  • Strengthen ongoing relationships with corporate relationship managers to enhance product sales and distribution, targeting both existing and potential customers at RBI HO
  • Conduct thorough analysis of the Corporate Sales customer base, adapting sales strategies as needed, developing acquisition plans for ”new-to-product” clients, and ensuring effective cross-selling of capital markets products
  • Stay informed on market activities to identify and capitalize on opportunities for client business development
  • Foster strong client relationships through regular interactions with client management, highlighting RBI's expertise in capital markets and business advisory, and engaging in strategic discussions
  • Continuously assess and optimize internal sales processes, addressing obstacles to increase business opportunities for Corporate Sales
  • Lead and inspire the team, adhering to RBI values and leadership principles

 

Your core competencies:

 

  • Master’s degree in business economics, finance, science, IT, or a related field
  • In-depth understanding of customer needs in the financial industry, with expertise in treasury products
  • Extensive experience in structuring and managing trading, market making, investment (Asset Liability and Portfolio Management), and/or sales of financial instruments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and cultivate a collaborative, adaptable work environment
  • Effective skills in defining and communicating a compelling vision, motivating others to align with it
  • Proficient in senior stakeholder management and effective communication at all organizational levels
  • Familiar with KPIs, OKRs, and budget management
  • Advanced proficiency in both German and English
