IT Delivery Manager (w/m/x) - Trade Finance Tribe

Your mission at RBI:
You will co-lead a dedicated cross-functional team of approximately 15 motivated professionals from Biz and IT in an agile environment together with the Product Owner and the Scrum Master. We have just started an exciting project to replace our legacy system with a modern application, using the latest technologies deployed in the cloud. This initiative focuses on enhancing our Trade Finance Business in our CEE group, and we are looking for a passionate leader who can drive this transformation while fostering a collaborative and dynamic workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IT delivery for Trade Finance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and highlighting the value and impact of tribe initiatives on organizational objectives.
- Drive the transition to a self-developed modern solution.
- Establish frameworks, architectures and guidelines to foster an engineering culture.
- Mentor team members and promote a team culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables, ensuring timely IT delivery while complying with internal policies and effectively managing resources and budgets.
- Monitor costs and define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure financial accountability and ongoing improvement.
Your core competencies
- Strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in modern application development: microservice and event-driven architecture (Java, Pulsar), APIs, engineering and test frameworks (eg. Angular, Playwright), DevSecOps and experience in deploying applications to the cloud (AWS)
- Proven leadership experience in managing agile teams and driving successful project outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate team members.
- Knowledge of Trade Finance processes and banking operations is an advantage.
