IT Product Owner (f/m/x) Software Engineering Platform

We are seeking an experienced IT Product Owner to lead the strategic development and delivery of IT products and services. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical teams, driving product vision, prioritization, and execution with a strong product mindset. This role also involves collaboration with vendors and cost management to ensure efficient and effective product delivery.

 

Your mission:

 

  • Define, communicate, and steer the product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, using agile methodologies to support continuous delivery of high-quality IT products.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to optimize product outcomes and cost efficiency.
  • Drive cost management and accountability for related cost centers.
  • Utilize and support integration of third-party tools (e.g., GitHub, Artifactory, LambdaTest) and in-house platforms to enhance product development and delivery.

 

Core Competencies:

 

  • Proven experience as an IT Product Owner or similar role in IT product management.
  • Understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with third-party development tools and in-house platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in vendor management and cost control.
  • Excellent communication on stakeholder management level, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
