Internship (w/m/x) - Corporate Development & Strategic Steering (38.5h/week)

In Group Strategy, the Corporate Development and Strategic Steering department performs the tasks of a traditional strategy and corporate M&A department. These include, among other things, the development of strategic options for the RBI Group and/or its subsidiaries, the implementation thereof (e.g. acquisitions, divestments,…), the preparation of market and competitive analyses, and the development of strategic projects.

• Working hours: Fulltime, 38.5 h/week
• Duration: 3-6 months
• Location: 1030 Vienna

Your role with us on the team

• You support us in conducting market and competitive analyses (incl. collaboration with experts from different areas of the bank, e.g. Finance, Risk, Business Lines, etc.)
• You assist in the development of strategic plans and ad-hoc projects
• You assist in the preparation and execution of potential M&A projects
• You prepare information and decision documents for the RBI Board and the top management
• You assist in the organization of board meetings and strategy workshops
• You support us in research activities on our markets in the CEE region

This job is made for you, if...

• you are an active student at a university or university of applied sciences, majoring in business administration, economics, mathematics or similar
• you speak English at a professional level. German or an additional CEE language is a plus
• you are experienced in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Experience in other IT tools and applications such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ are a plus
• you like to challenge the status quo to drive performance
• you have a strong interest in banking, finance, M&A, and capital markets
• you are quick on the uptake and complete tasks in a structured manner
• you work independently but also enjoy working in a team and in an international environment
