Junior Backend Engineer (f/m/x) GenAI Engineering Platform

Your mission:

 

  • Support Platform and Feature Teams in building and maintaining scalable backend services and AI-driven tools
  • Assist in developing AI-powered features, APIs, and automation workflows within our data and marketing ecosystems
  • Utilize generative AI and machine learning tools to improve productivity in coding, testing, documentation, log analysis, and data validation
  • Collaborate closely with experienced Developers and cross-functional teams in an agile environment
  • Gain hands-on experience with cloud-native AI infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and enterprise-grade AI applications
  • Work with leading GenAI platforms on Azure, AWS, and GCP

 

Core Competencies:

 

  • Completed studies or equivalent experience in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Basic to intermediate programming skills in Python, with interest or familiarity in GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), coding agents, and agentic frameworks
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and RESTful APIs
  • Enthusiasm for cloud-native AI platforms and modern software ecosystems
  • Structured, proactive work approach with eagerness to learn and collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team
  • Proficient in English; additional languages like German or CEE languages are a plus
