Junior Financial Institution Credit Risk Analyst (m/f/x) - limited to 1 year

What you can expect:
- Credit analysis and risk analysis work, related to FI area
- In-depth credit risk analysis of the FI entities including their rating assignments
- Usage of the specialized rating models and expert-evaluation tools for credit assessment in this asset class
- Monitoring development for relevant entities, markets and fundamental global factors; act upon this information to timely update the credit assessment of the respective ratings of the FI entities
- Participation in broad analytical initiatives and project related to FI risk assessment
- Taking part in analytical projects essential for Group Financial Institutions, Country & Portfolio Risk Management (FCPM) and stakeholders divisions
- Participation in data-driven analytical projects
- Implementation of reporting solutions
- Supporting Risk management colleagues in business decisions related to FI counterparties
- Supporting the business-lines colleagues in assessing FI counterparties from their respective business domains
- Collaborating within the RBI network’s FI risk management and analysis colleagues
What you bring to the table:
- A graduate or post-graduate university degree and/or work experience in economics, finance, mathematics, informatics, or statistics
- Advanced analytical skills, interest and ability to investigate comprehensive structures and find solutions for non-standardized analytical problems
- Advanced digital and data processing proficiency – preferably knowledgeable in Power Bi, R, python and SQL
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply in English and an understanding of German (B1-B2) to read documents and communicate with certain stakeholders; other languages are of advantage
- Proactive in your onboarding and learning, not shy to ask questions, and committed to benefiting the team
