Junior Strategy Analyst - Corporate Development & M&A (f/m/x)

The Corporate Development & Strategic Steering team is responsible for the development and setting of RBI Group’s strategic direction as well as heavily involved in its implementation which also includes capital allocation. Further focus of the department is the initiation and execution of M&A projects as a result of the strategy process.

 

Your role at RBI

 

  • You take over responsibility for market, trend and performance analyses and further develop and maintain simulation and evaluation tools.
  • You support the senior staff: Prepare analyses for elements of the group strategy for the internal preparations of presentations and recommendations for top management. 
  • You participate in exciting corporate development projects as defined by the CEO or the board.
  • You will work across divisions and countries and collaborate with external stakeholders.
  • You actively look out for and suggest measures that improve RBI Group’s performance and positioning – from the team to the banking group.
  • You grow into higher responsibility at the pace of your personal development.
  • You will work on a broad range of topics every quarter – we have a low share of repetitive work in our department.
     

Your core competencies

 

  • You have a degree from a university or university of applied science, and gained first relevant work experience (e.g., in M&A or consulting). 
  • You feel comfortable dealing with numbers and company financials.
  • You have profound MS Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Coding in VBA, R or Phyton and knowledge of PowerBI would be a plus.
  • You work independently, are well-organized, and take a hands-on approach. You are ready to take responsibility, focusing on results with an unbiased attitude toward tasks.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, any CEE language would be an advantage.
