Junior Tech Risk & AI/Automation Analyst (f/m/x)

Join the Non-Financial Risk Tribe at RBI Group. We are expanding the use of automation, data and AI to improve technology risk management and internal risk processes.

In this role you work at the intersection of technology risk, data and automation, collaborating with risk experts, IT teams and the bank’s central AI teams to understand technology risks and implement automation and AI-supported solutions that improve efficiency across the tribe.

This is a hands-on role where you prototype and implement automation and AI solutions together with risk and IT experts.

Your role at RBI:

• Assess and analyze technology risks across key IT platforms and services
• Work with IT and business teams to translate risk requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and implement automation opportunities in risk management processes
• Build automation tools and AI-assisted solutions (e.g. AI agents for document analysis, automated risk reporting, control testing support, knowledge retrieval)
• Prepare risk-related datasets for analytics and reporting
• Develop Power BI dashboards and risk analytics for management reporting
• Support data pipelines and automated data flows using platforms such as Databricks
• Develop internal tools and lightweight applications using platforms such as APEX

Your core competencies:

• Degree in Business Informatics/IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance or related field
• Interest in technology risk management and IT platforms, with understanding of business impact
• Interest in automation and modern data technologies

Technical foundation including:

• Python for automation, data processing, and API integrations
• SQL and experience with structured datasets are a plus
• Understanding of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, APIs, data modeling)
• Experience with or interest in AI/LLM tools and automation solutions
• Interest in BI tools such as Power BI
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

You do not need to be a senior developer. A solid technical foundation and curiosity to learn are sufficient—we will support your development in coding, data engineering and AI.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Databricks or similar data platforms
• Experience with APEX or similar low-code development platforms
• Basic familiarity with IT architecture, technology risk, or regulatory frameworks
• Banking domain familiarity (risk, compliance, or operations)
