Junior/Professional - Credit Limit & Application Manager (f/m/x)
Join RBI Group Credit Limit & Application (GCLA) to help shape the community for risk governance throughout the group and provide AI driven solutions (monitoring, simulation, workflows) in corporate and FI/SOV segment – in close collaboration with analysis and underwriting team. You bring a foundation of skills that allows you to grow into credit risk evaluation and FI risk management paths. You will help shape the FI low-impact portfolio decision process and early warning system monitoring.
Your role at RBI:
- Central risk governance function of risk parameters and processes monitoring, escalation and reporting for the FI and CO segment and improve group communities in risk governance
- Develop your data analytical skills and daily work with LLM and AI agentic
- Create environments and solutions by AI usage for self-service data & process reporting (inclusive KPIs),
- Expert on credit risk types and products, applications including calculations and processes
- Evaluation of the low impact FI counterparty portfolio in close cooperation with FI underwriting and analyses
- Supporting the early warning system for the FI&S Portfolio and align potential measures with FI Risk Management and Financial Rating & Analyses
- Grow into credit risk evaluation and active learning path towards FI risk management and analysis
Your core competencies:
- Relevant educational background in data science, STEM, economics, finance, or a comparable field, combined with experience applying machine learning or AI in a professional environment
- Risk conscious mindset, yet able to think in terms of general business management with the ability to challenge, influence, and support decision-making
- Basic programming skills, ideally SQL and/or Python, capable of querying and analysing data from relational databases.
- Ability to manage across multiple functional areas group wide (e.g., relationship management, product management, credit analysis, collateral management, workout) and to coordinate with senior stakeholders
- Business level command of English; German or any CEE language as an advantage
- Familiarity with quantitative risk concepts (e.g., rating models and data analytics tools) and AI-supported tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (EBA Guidelines, CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9) and ability to apply these in daily activities

- Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.375,40 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
