Junior/Professional Group Regulatory Affairs Manager (f/m/x)

Join our Group Supervisory Affairs & Regulatory Governance department as a Junior Group Regulatory Affairs Manager! You'll be the key contact with European and Austrian banking authorities, coordinating supervisory requests and ensuring compliance. Take this opportunity to shape our supervisory communication policy and engage directly with top-tier supervisors.

 

Your role at RBI

 

  • Assess supervisory requests and allocate them to responsible experts in-house  
  • Ensure timely submission of requested data to the Joint Supervisory Team (ECB, OeNB, FMA) 
  • Coordination and monitoring of On-Site Inspections and other supervisory exercises on various topics (prudential, ESG, IT risk) 
  • Support experts in-house with the Policy approval process (review, preparation for approval and publication of the official documents in respective Databases)  
  • Focus on some specific topics, e.g. Fit & Proper requirements, reviews and assessments  
  • Preparation of presentations on regulatory and supervisory topics for the Management 
  • Inform RBI employees on new regulatory developments, prepare presentations and articles 

 

Your core competencies

 

  • University degree in law, economics or comparable studies  
  • Excellent knowledge of international and European regulatory frameworks and requirements 
  • Analytical skills, quick-wittedness, solution-driven, team-oriented 
  • Familiar with Power BI, project management or reporting tools (e.g. Jira, PowerBI) 
  • Ability to handle complex assignments under time pressure 
  • Proficient in communicating with counterparts in both English and German
