Product Owner (f/m/x) - Alternative Payment Methods

We look for a talented, passionate and collaborative Solution Manager to broaden our Payment Acceptance business (Acquiring), especially for non-card payments.
RBI and its payment acceptance business is a leading provider in the region from large to small merchants, both in the offline and online world. We continue to invest strongly in our people, products and technology and this role holder will become a critical team member to shape the way forward.
This role will be accountable to shape and implement new payment methods (e.g. account to account) across several Central / Eastern European markets (Network Banks).

 

 Your role at RBI

 

  • Build up a strategy around alternative payment methods (like EPI/Wero, Digital Euro, PayPal, …) for RBI Group from a merchant’s perspective
  • Design and implement alternative payment method offerings as centralized solutions
  • Collaborate close with our IT-Teams and Shared-Service Centers for the technical implementation
  • Coordinate with Network Banks and Sales/Marketing departments the go-to-market strategy
  • Have full responsibility for creating, prioritizing and refining the backlog for the team


Your core competencies

 

  • Work experience as product owner or product manager in an international environment
  • Passionate about payments and following market trends and developments
  • Sound communication skills in English to negotiate with different stakeholders from  head office, different Network Banks and external partners
  • Knowledge of agile methods


Nice to have

 

  • Work experience in payment acceptance business 
  • Work experience with Confluence/Jira
  • Capability of having high level discussions around IT architectures relevant to Payment Acceptance
