Regulatory Affairs Manager - Prudential Regulations, Payments (f/m/x)
The Group Supervisory Affairs & Regulatory Governance Unit is a well-established department within the Group Regulatory Affairs division, acts as a regulatory Hub responsible for monitoring EU, international and national regulatory landscape for all regulatory developments which are relevant for Head Office and the Group.
Join us as Regulatory Affairs Manager to deep dive into regulatory initiatives related to payments-related and prudential topics. Additionally, you will have a chance to be involved in the Supervisory Dialogues with the Joint Supervisory Team (ECB, FMA, OeNB) and contribute and maintain RBI Group Policy Framework.
Your role at RBI:
- Continuously learn and improve regulatory know-how around payments (PSD3, PSR, IPR, Digital EUR, eIDAS2) and prudential topic (e.g. Basel 3 implementation)
- Communicate with in‑house experts on regulatory developments and collect impact assessments, where applicable
- Maintain the RBI Group “Regulatory Radar” tool, including monitoring, analysis, and internal communication of relevant regulatory initiatives
- Prepare and present regulatory developments in internal regulatory trainings organized by the department
- Prepare presentations on regulatory topics for the Management Board
- Support supervisory dialogue through various interactions with the Joint Supervisory Team
- Support the RBI Group Policy Framework, including the policy approval process
- Maintain the RBI Group Policy tool and related processes
Your core competencies:
- University degree in law, economics or a comparable field
- Excellent knowledge of international and European regulatory frameworks and requirements, particularly in payments and prudential topics
- Diligent and detail‑focused work with legal and regulatory texts
- Analytical working style with a solution‑oriented approach and ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage complex assignments under time pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication in German and English, with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences
