Restructuring Manager (m/f/x)

We assist our clients with close and intensive support in economically difficult business phases and help to navigate the often unfamiliar restructuring environment with the aim of restoring the customer's financial health. By implementing innovative financial restructuring solutions and target to manage the challenging balancing act between supporting our client and RBI’s risk optimization.

 

Your role at RBI

 

  • Assess and analyze distressed loans from a commercial and legal perspective with customers in financial difficulties,
  • Set-up recovery strategies to bring the customers back to a sustainable debt-service level and reduce the bank’s risk, combined with the confidence of presenting and defending these strategies versus several stakeholders, including decision takers, auditors & regulators
  • Proactively co-operate with consultants and representatives of other banks/funds,
  • Directly negotiate with stakeholders, 
  • Coordinate and supervise the loan-administration of implemented restructuring agreements and monitor them on a regular basis,
  • Lead and contribute to internal projects for innovative development within the bank

 

Your core competencies

 

  • University degree in business administration / economics and business/ banking and finance / legal or similar
  • Profound knowledge of Austrian restructuring principles combined with at least 3-5 years of restructuring experience
  • Knowledge of NPE regulatory requirements combined with solid corporate finance know-how, in-depth knowledge of banking products and their life-cycle
  • Advanced MS Office skills, combined with analytical and basic coding competencies
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills - both in German and English 
  • You are a highly motivated, self-organised personality with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
