If you are passionate about AI governance, people, structuring knowledge, and establishing the most impactful AI governance initiatives, this role is for you.

Your mission at RBI:

  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, and banking requirements
  • Design and apply AI risk assessment methods, compliance processes, and governance standards for AI initiatives
  • Build and maintain model registries, use‑case catalogues, risk matrices, and governance documentation for reuse
  • Manage the AI Committee (AICO) and facilitate cross‑functional working groups with business, risk, IT, and legal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal audit, regulatory affairs, and external auditors to support audit readiness and follow‑up on findings
  • Assess the impact of emerging AI technologies on governance and adapt controls or processes as needed

  • Practical experience with AI governance tools: model registries, risk assessment frameworks, and monitoring approaches
  • Ability to translate regulatory and risk requirements into implementable business processes and controls, and to balance innovation enablement with risk management and compliance
  • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, facilitating decision making, and supporting organizational change initiatives across disciplines
  • Understanding of financial services business models, risk appetite, and competitive dynamics, combined with facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Nice to Have:

  • Advanced degree in Law, Risk Management, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications in AI governance, risk, or compliance preferred
  • Several years of relevant experience in governance, risk, or compliance roles within financial services
