Senior Test Engineer (f/m/x)

We are eager to welcome an experienced and highly skilled Test Engineer to our Cloud Data and Machine-Learning platform team. This role is crucial in designing and delivering a variety of tests for our micro service backend, for our Cloud infrastructure code, and for our end-user interfaces.
Your Role:
- Testing Platform: Ownership of the testing platform used libraries and technical processes required to operate it.
- Automated Testing: Develop and implement automated test suites for Python-based RESTful microservices and Terraform infrastructure deployed on AWS.
- End-to-End Testing: Design and execute end-to-end tests to ensure the platform meets the needs of various user groups effectively.
- Test Strategy and Governance: Define and document comprehensive testing strategies and approaches that align with enterprise standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, platform engineers and Service Management team members to create reliable and comprehensive test cases.
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.
- Performance and Security Testing: Conduct performance and security testing to ensure robustness and compliance with security standards.
- Quality Assurance: Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other platform team members.
Your Core Competences:
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep know how of testing Python-based RESTful microservices.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure testing using Terraform.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks and tools such as PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, etc.
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies.
- Good understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
- ISTQB or alternative certification highly desirable.
