Student Job (f/m/x) - Balance Sheet Risk Management (20 h/week)
Balance Sheet Risk Management serves as a Center of Competence for managing Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book within the RBI Group. The team is also responsible for the calculation of IFRS9 Fair Values and IFRS9 Benchmark tests. Considering ongoing regulatory requirements and initiatives, we are seeking for a Student to assist the team in the daily operations.

These tasks are waiting for you
- Data Analysis Support: Assist the team by conducting monthly/ quarterly or ad hoc data comparisons to uncover trends and insights
- Documentation: Support the team in maintaining and organizing documentation accordingly
- Support the team in preparing the data/presentations for RBI Group Committees (Asset Liability Committee and Market Risk Committee)
- Support with preparation of regulatory reporting for interest rate risk in the banking book
- Support in modelling of investment book products inclusive development of behavioral models (e.g. prepayment models, modeling of non-maturing deposits)
Your core competencies
- Active studies in Informatics, Economic / Finance or similar
- Basic knowledge of money market and capital market products
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, MS Power BI, MS OneDrive)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, preferably SQL, is a plus
- Excellent English skills, with German or another CEE language being an advantage
- Enthusiastic about working with numbers and data
- Strong motivation to learn and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Team player and good communication skills
- Independence, structure, and eagerness to learn and tackle new challenges
