Student Job (f/m/x) - Test Automation Engineering in IT Delivery Retail CRM Platform (20-25 h/week)
Within RBI’s Retail Customer Engagement (RCE) Tribe, we build and operate a group-wide data and AI platform that enables our Network Banks across Central & Eastern Europe to better understand and engage their customers. Our centrally hosted, cloud-based services power real-time personalization, advanced analytics and next best action use cases. By strengthening our Platform Team, we are scaling the technical backbone for data-driven customer interaction across the entire RBI Group.
To further strengthen our Platform Team, we are currently looking for a working student to support us in the area of test automation engineering. In this role, you will help us improve the quality and reliability of our platform by supporting automated testing activities across our services.

Your role with us on the team
- Support our Platform and Product Teams in improving and maintaining automated test setups
- Assist in writing, updating and executing automated test cases for our data and marketing platforms
- Leverage AI tools wherever possible to improve efficiency in daily tasks and engineering activities (e.g. code generation, test case creation, documentation support, log analysis, data validation, etc.)
- Help identify quality issues early by supporting integration and regression testing activities
- Work together with DevOps Engineers, Developers and Scrum Masters in an agile environment
- Gain hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and enterprise-grade platforms
Your core competencies
- Ongoing studies in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
- Fluent English skills (German or CEE languages are a plus)
- Basic understanding of software development or testing principles
- First experience with any programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus
- Interest in automation, quality assurance and modern software delivery practices
- Experience with Git, Jira or similar collaboration tools is beneficial
- Structured working style and willingness to learn in a cross-functional agile team
