Teamlead Process and Project Management Operational Excellence (f/m/x)

Based in Head Office Operations, this role drives end-to-end process excellence within Operational Excellence. It combines process and project management, efficiency management, AI-enabled automation and continuous optimization in an agile/hybrid environment. Key focus areas are credit card and customer processes, while also supporting relevant Operations processes across RBI in close cooperation with Product Management, IT and subject matter experts.


Your Mission:

 

  • Lead E2E design, optimization and governance of Operations processes, with focus on credit card and customer processes.
  • Lead and coach a team of 6 people in a changing operational environment.
  • Drive efficiency, simplification, automation and AI-enabled transformation to improve quality, speed, transparency and customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional process and project initiatives with Product Management, IT, Operations, agile teams and RBI experts.
  • Translate strategy, product requirements and expert input into E2E target pictures, roadmaps, business requirements and measurable outcomes.
  • Support agile/hybrid delivery by clarifying priorities, managing dependencies and ensuring transparency.
  • Embed regulatory, compliance, risk and legal requirements in process designs and deliverables.
  • Manage process performance via KPIs, service levels and operational data.


Your core competencies:

 

  • 5+ years in process/project management, credit cards, customer processes, digital banking, payments or banking operations
  • Strong E2E process expertise, including design, governance, optimization and operational excellence
  • Experience with efficiency management, automation, AI-enabled transformation, digitalization or data-driven improvement
  • Experience in agile/hybrid collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, IT teams and stakeholders
  • People management skills: leadership, coaching, capability building, motivation and performance orientation
  • Sound understanding of banking operations, customer journeys, operational risk, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborative leadership and strong communication with Product Management, IT, Operations, specialist functions and external partners; 
  • Fluent in English and German: German is advantageous due to close collaboration with the Austrian Raiffeisen Sector.

  • Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 4.206,12 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
