Start your journey with our 13-month Corporate & Investment Banking Trainee Program - designed to help you explore, rotate, and grow. If you are interested in finance and want to start your career in an international environment, this is your opportunity to learn, collaborate, and shape your path. You’ll start with a 7-month core phase across Corporate Customers, Institutional Customers, Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, Structured Finance & Investment Banking, and Client Lifecycle Management - before deepening your expertise through tailored rotations in one of the main business areas aligned with your strengths and interests.
What you’ll do as a CIB trainee:
- Rotate every few months through different areas of Corporate & Investment Banking
- Shadow colleagues and take part in internal and client meetings
- Learn from experts in industry and product sessions
- Prepare presentations, research, and materials that support your team
- Grow your skills through self-study, feedback, and hands-on projects
- Be part of a supportive community of CIB trainees
Your core competencies:
- You have recently completed or will complete your Master’s degree by September 30, 2026
- You are fluent in English and have at least a C1 level in German; an additional language is an advantage
- You have already gained practical experience during your studies (e.g. internships), either within banking or in other fields
- You have spent part of your studies or internships abroad
- You have sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- You are a team player, embracing knowledge sharing
