Here’s your opportunity to make a significant impact: As Venture Builder Lead, you will lead a team in developing new business models by discovering, validating, and accelerating new business ideas aligned with RBI’s strategic ambitions.

 

Your Mission at RBI

 

  • As an innovation pioneer, identify and foster new cutting-edge business opportunities with significant growth potential for B2B and B2C businesses. 
  • Lead a stellar team of innovators to design and validate new business models through data-driven experiments, mitigating innovation risk within RBIs strategic focus areas. 
  • Monitor KPIs to ensure new businesses achieve desired growth and profitability, and continuously evaluate and report on the impact of running projects and activities.  
  • Develop and validate business models, financial plans, and go-to-market strategies, drive customer acquisition, product development, and market expansion. 
  • Collaborate with the strategic foresight team to stay ahead of the market trends, integrating fresh insights into our innovation strategy.  
  • Provide thought leadership and knowledge in human-centered and evidence-based innovation to your team. 
  • Co-create the strategic vision for innovation, including frameworks and programs that support both exploratory and exploitative activities with your peers in the Innovation Department.  

 

Your core competencies  

 

  • University degree in Business, Innovation, or a related field, showcasing ability to lead strategic innovation in a corporate setting. 
  • 7-10 years of experience in Venture Building or Corporate Innovation, demonstrating exceptional leadership and mentorship of high-performing teams. 
  • Deep insights in market trends, technology, and ecosystems to steer innovation in the financial sector. 
  • Strong background in innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking and Lean Startup, essential for designing human-centered business model and value proposition. 
  • Passion for and proven experience in developing innovative businesses and value propositions within established organizations, especially in financial services. 
  • Excellent communications skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.

  • Project Management & Strategic Planning: Exceptional skills in planning and managing projects strategically, complementing the innovation journey from concept to implementation. 
  • Financial Services Experience: Prior experience in a financial or banking environment is highly beneficial for navigating of industry-specific challenges. 
  • Cross-Cultural Agility: Excel in a diverse, multinational team, understanding and respecting different perspectives and business practices.
