Senior Compliance Officer (f/m/x)

Your role at Raiffeisen KAG:
- Ensure compliance with and implementation of legal and internal compliance guidelines (AML/CFT, Financial Sanctions, FATCA/CRS, Market Abuse Prevention, Governance, etc.)
- Take responsibility for the strategic compliance steering of asset management companies (AMCs) of RKAG and RBI Group in the CEE region
- Act as primary contact for complex compliance issues, managing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Analyse regulatory developments at Austrian, EU and international levels and advise accordingly
- Lead the creation of internal compliance guidelines and oversee compliance training courses
- Prepare detailed reports and analyses, and conduct compliance audits
- Evaluate compliance risks and ensure audit readiness
- Collaborate within the international environment of RBI Group in national and international working groups
Your core competencies:
- University degree in law, economics or a related field - or equivalent professional experience in the financial industry
- Minumum 5 years experience in compliance, consultancy, or at a regulatory authority
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Austrian and European capital market regulations (InvFG 2011, AIFMG, MiFID II, FM-GwG, European supervisory architecture, etc.)
- Experience in capital markets compliance topics such as MAD, personal account dealings, best execution, marketing communication, sensitive business
- High level of English proficiency; German and CEE/SEE languages (especially Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian) are advantageous
- Strong sense of accountability and leadership skills (?)
- Aptitude for process design, automation and efficiency improvements
- Advanced MS Office skills

Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.375,40 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
