DevOps Engineer (f/m/x)

“Cloud Innovation” is a team of experienced IT engineers who have deep knowledge in public cloud and drive the cloud journey of Raiffeisen Capital Management, leading asset management company in Austria and asset management competence center of Raiffeisen Bank International group in CEE.

We architect blueprints for public cloud-based IT solutions, provide ready-to-use landing zones for a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OCI), implement streamlined CI/CD pipelines and IaaS provisioning and support IT product teams in achieving highly automated processes using the latest AI-augmented technology.

 

Your mission:

 

  • Roll out CI/CD pipelines and IaC provisioning to newly acquired business units.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, IaC provisioning in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI).
  • Foster hyperscaler independence and provide ready-to-use, compliant platforms (i.e., Kubernetes).
  • Support development teams in automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Define and enforce public cloud governance, support IT product teams achieving resilient and compliant IT solutions.
  • Analyze and solve impediments involving multiple stakeholders (i.e., Raiffeisen group internal and external service providers).
  • Apply latest AI technologies, identify optimization potentials and be an AI-augmented DevOps role model.

 

Your core competencies:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in DevOps and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, optionally Azure or OCI) and their automation.
  • Good knowledge of containers (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Experience in monitoring and logging (e.g., Elastic stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Know-how in network technologies, IT security, and Linux system administration.
  • Very good English skills (B2 level), German skills are a plus (B1 level).
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working.
