Senior Business Analyst for Cash Management Billing Solution (f/m/x)
We are assembling a product-focused team to replace our 12-year-old billing solution used by Corporate & FI customers across the group. The Senior Business Analyst will be the domain expert for billing and cash management processes and will bridge business stakeholders and the engineering team building a cloud-native solution hosted on AWS and deployed to our Kubernetes platform. The project follows API-first and spec-driven development (SpecKit / BeMad) and leverages AI-assisted tooling.
Your mission:
- Lead requirements engineering and domain modeling for end-to-end billing, reconciliation and cash management processes.
- Produce clear, testable business specifications: user stories, acceptance criteria, OpenAPI-oriented API specs, process models and UAT scenarios.
- Drive spec-driven development workflows together with the Lead Developer and QA to ensure traceability from spec → implementation → tests.
- Facilitate workshops with product owners, cash management stakeholders and other teams.
- Support QA in defining test cases and coordinate UAT; ensure regulatory and operational controls are captured.
- Act as the primary BA interface to the engineering team (Lead + 2 Devs), QA/test automation and DevOps.
Your core competencies:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Informatics or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years experience in business analysis; proven experience in Cash Management, Corporate Billing, Payments or Treasury domains is a plus.
- Strong experience with API-First thinking and OpenAPI/Swagger; familiarity with spec-driven tools (SpecKit/BeMad) is a plus.
- Proficient in process modeling (BPMN), Jira/Confluence and producing high-quality functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Good technical understanding of REST APIs, basic DB concepts (Postgres) and modern deployment patterns to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate business requirements into implementable specs.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset; able to work effectively in a compact, cross‑functional product team
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus.
