Senior Java Software Engineer (f/m/x)
As a Senior Software Engineer for Agile Delivery Building Society Savings and Loans Sales, you will work in a scrum team in an agile setup with end-to-end responsibility. You are part of a department within the Raiffeisen Group IT GmbH that is responsible for front and back-office software products for Raiffeisen Building Society Savings and Loans ("Raiffeisen Bausparkasse").
Your mission:

Collaborate within a scrum team in an agile set-up with end-to-end responsibility (design, implementation, and maintenance of software products)

Enhance and improve modern core banking software products and maintain legacy mission-critical core banking applications

Address requirements and issues to ensure compliance with IT Security standards

Contribute to technical Proof-of-concepts, prototypes, spikes, and evaluation of open-source software
Your core competencies:
- Proficiency in Java and related technologies such as JAX-RS/Reasteasy, Jetty, JDBC, Streams, Apache POI/FOP, Java Keystore, OpenAPI, Vaadin, JSP/JSF, Angular, Spring Boot, Javascript
- Familiar with profiling and monitoring tools such as JMX, VisualVM, Eclipse MAT, JConsole, Elasticsearch/Splunk
- Passion to write clean, maintainable code, conduct thorough code reviews, and utilize code quality tools such as SonarQube to ensure high standards
- Quality assurance tools such as JUnit, Restassured, Mockito, Hamcrest, JaCoco, JMeter, Selenium
- Hands-on experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Practical experience with Git/SVN and Linux operating system
- Fluent in English
Nice-to-have:

Know-how and experience with Eclipse and OSGi technology

Ability to read and understand C++ and C# code

Understanding of Cloud Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OKD/OpenShift, AWS)

Salary: the offered gross yearly salary starts from 60.000 Euro (basis full-time) excluding overtime, depending on qualification and experience
