Site Reliability Engineering Architect (f/m/x)
Are you eager to work in an environment where diversity, problem-solving, and openness is key to success? Our Site Reliability Engineering team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineering Architect who will drive the application and data platform design and development.
Your mission
- Design and implement secure architectures, integrating security into automated workflows and platforms development.
- Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and guidelines to communicate design and security decisions effectively.
- Actively identify innovation opportunities and improve technical solutions within the platform domain.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and development of our self-service platform.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of our platform and services, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce latency, and optimize costs.
- Contribute to Cloud and DevOps guilds.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the SRE team.
Your core competencies
- Master’s degree in computer science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Teamwork - first and foremost, we're a team. We make decisions and stand behind them as a team.
- Very good understanding of DevOps processes and good knowledge of toolset for continuous delivery (CD) (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, team city)
- Experience with infrastructure as a service (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Good knowledge of Linux or UNIX based system architecture
- Experience with containers and containers orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift is a big plus.
- Experience with monitoring and monitoring technologies (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
Nice to have
- Experience architecting, developing, and troubleshooting large scale systems.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
