Compliance Officer (f/m) - Fiscal Reporting Compliance  

The Financial Crime Department (FCM), an organizational unit within our Compliance division, is responsible for group-wide standards and management of Fiscal Reporting Compliance (FRC), dealing with the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the US Qualified Intermediary regime (QI) and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS), the Austrian Bankenpaket ex GMSG (Kontoregister, Kapitalabfluss) as well as the implementation of the newly DAC6.

What you can expect:  
  • Support the team on all relevant FRC topics. After appropriate phase-in period, take-over topic leadership
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and propose smart implementation approach to ensure regulatory compliancy
  • Support the design and implementation of new regulatory projects (e.g. DAC6)
  • Manage and the expectation of multiple project stakeholder and create value for business
  • Monitor and analyze market standards, regulations as well as best practices in Austria and relevant regions
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses and propose improvement actions in areas of responsibility
  • Ensure high quality regulatory reporting in all FRC areas jointly with the team resp. in the area of responsibility
  • Support the plan, design, execute and evaluate change and processes with regard to our digitalization and change strategy

What you bring to the table:
  • University degree in Business Informatics/Economics/Business Law/Business Administration/Project Management or comparable studies
  • Experience in banking with understanding of banking products and the standard processes of a bank or in tax advisory in a reputable audit/tax firm
  • You are innovative and have hands on experience in working in digital work streams
  • Basic change management skills backed by strong multi-cultural sensitivity
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills and good sense for business
  • Excellent in conflict / issue management and solution oriented
  • Inclusive leadership skills: capable to inspire and motivate stakeholders - lead by example
  • Independent and self-reliant whilst strong team player
  • Excellent English AND German skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • High willingness to keep up to date with international tax regimes
