Digital Product & Customer Strategy Leader (f/m/x) - Retail Banking 

The Digital Product and Customer Strategy Leader is in charge of Business evaluation of Digital Initiatives using new methods (e.g. venture capital approach). He is proposing new methods of testing value propositions and conversions for such new type of business cases. He is responsible for development of new type digital products based on APIs or partnership. He creates new product and services to foster Digital Acquisition. The Leader drives new products, services & innovations or new channels.    

What you can expect:
  • Prepare strategic framework for evaluating new market opportunities – no typical M&A and business case scenarios
  • Propose new methods of testing value propositions and conversions for such new type of business cases
  • Have responsibility for development of new type of products based on APIs or partnership
  • Cover business side of the stand-alone digital projects
  • Enable execution of new business models
  • Lead the transformation process and actively initiate change in the Group
  • Support development of (digital) alternative distribution channels and grow our client base through internal & external acquisition   
  • Initiate, design, lead & execute the major projects in area of organizational, cultural and technological transformations
  • Proactively search for the international best-practices; share & distribute innovations 
  • Act as a link between Segments, Products & Channels within and across divisions
  • Drive digital product specific initiatives across RBI Group in course of the Retail Strategy
  • Manage critical strategic projects for RBI Group as well as BL Retail (e.g. sale/ exit of units, potential acquisitions of Retail portfolios) 
  • Take responsibility to strengthen product management capabilities in RBI Retail Banking
  • Identify and undertake measures to mitigate leakage and ensure pricing & fees in line with regulatory requirements   

What you bring to the table:
  • 5-10 years of experience in Retail business (preferably in Banking or Telecom)
  • University degree in technical or economic studies 
  • Experience in leading a transformation process
  • Solid Program Management experience, combined with execution power
  • Strong commercial background & strategic thinking 
  • Independency in work-approach and persistency in striving to accomplish difficult tasks   
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Experience in start-up or fintech is an advantage 
  • Fluent English; German or CEE language is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% (CEE region)
