Your role at RBI
- Data Governance & Quality Control: Taking charge of project support and control, ensuring data governance, data quality, and BCBS 239 compliance across RBI's diverse project landscape.
- Setting the Standards: Leading the preparation and development of data governance and data quality standards, guidelines, methods, and processes. You will be the architect of excellence in data management.
- Driving Strategic Initiatives: Managing strategic data quality governance measures and projects that will shape the future of our data ecosystem, enabling smarter decisions and enhancing our competitive edge.
- Reporting with Impact: Providing regular data governance and data quality reports to decision-making bodies, translating complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Monitoring Performance: Defining and monitoring data governance KPIs, ensuring that we continually raise the bar in our data quality and governance efforts.
- Empowering the Team: Collaborating with the business to define Data Quality checks and conducting training sessions to raise awareness and empower our staff to become data-driven champions.
Your core competencies
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance/Economics, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science).
- Experience in the financial services industry, understanding of banking products and processes.
- SQL knowledge.
- Team player, service orientation, high level of commitment and motivation.
- Analytical, result-oriented, and structured way of working.
- Excellent English communication and coordination skills.
- A passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.
Nice to have
- Spark, Python or R
- Proficiency in statistical and/or Machine Learning concepts is a plus.
- Experience in data governance, data quality, BCBS239 as well as financial services IT-landscape.
